The Sydney Opera House is one of the most iconic landmarks on earth. For moviegoers at the St George OpenAir Cinema you might see it peaking out from behind the screen while watching the newest release.
There’s no better way to spend a summer evening in Sydney than sipping on a frozen cocktail while enjoying a film with friends. As for the winter months, the average temperatures fall between 14.6 – 22.2°C. You might still see the Irish in a t-shirt and shorts as 22°C is pretty warm for us. For everyone else, throw on a jacket, order a glass of red wine from the Harbour Bar and enjoy one of the most impressive skylines as a backdrop to the movie screen in the water. The ultimate romantic date for movie lovers.
Unfortunately tickets are allocated on a first come basis and the box office opens at midday on the day of screening. Gates open at 6.15pm each evening and the screening commences at approximately 8.30pm. What a way to watch the sunset!
